UFO details report: Walking home from work, about 8:30 PM on Saturday, August 22, 2015.Standing on the corner of Bay st and Sheaffe st, I observed approximately 10 to 15 lights hovering in the northern sky.They were extra visible, and also extra strange, because there was an incredibly dark storm cloud further north behind them, and so they stood out as the only thing in the sky. Other pedestrians on the street saw this as well, and perhaps tried to make a video with their phone.I don't know why, but I feel "they" were observing the dark cloud.After several minutes (5 to 10 at most) Individual lights began flying into the cloud and disappeared from view. They continued disappearing in this way until there was one left who was much higher in the sky than the others. Eventually he appeared to move away, slowly, until he disappeared.
In further correspondence I ask the witness about the possibility of Chinese Sky Lanterns: "Yes, I'm familiar with sky lanterns, and this was one of my first guesses when I had made initial visual contact. They were moving in a way that seemed to suggest to me that they were intelligently controlled, as they avoided some near collisions with each other. They did not appear to be simply floating on the breeze. They were also quite bright, and a fair distance away from me, so I did initially rule out the chance that it was fire."
