UFO Cumberland Beach, Orillia, Ontario Saturday July 23, 2011

 

"My husband and I were sitting around the fire pit late Saturday night (July 23, 2011), when I noticed a large bright ball in the sky. I excitedly smacked my husband on the arm urging him to hurry up and look at it! He exclaimed, "Holy shit!" Lol, it was like a ball of fire, flickering gold, yellow and orange, then it would turn to a deep red, then back to the oranges and yellows. It was traveling from west to east at a slow steady pace. There was no 'tail' like you normally see with meteors/comets. After about a minute it disappeared behind some clouds and at the exact moment it vanished, a second one appeared from the same spot the first one had!!! The second one was exactly the same as the first, traveling at the same speed and flickering just like the first one. I managed to grab my cell phone and got a horribly blurry 5 second video of the second UFO. Even though it's blurry, you can still clearly tell that its flickering and you can see the deep red colour it changes to before starting to shimmer like fire again. Part of a flagpole is also in the shot to the left of the glowing blob. I have to buy the right cable to hook my cell phone up to my computer so I can upload the video to you guys, but in the meantime I was wondering if you had any other reports from last weekend. Could they have been satellites returning to earth or something?"
