It was late Sept.(or early October) 1991 at approx. 10pm...It was a clear night, and we were night fishing right near the Pickering Power Plant. I was with a friend from work, and we were fishing away from each other when I noticed something very large and bright in the sky ahead of us!...From what I remember (I didn't write this down) it was in the North East....I didn't really realize what it was until it started to SLOWLY move down, then stop for a couple minutes, then SLOWLY move sideways...When it started to move down, I yelled to my friend, and said are you seeing what I'm seeing?...and he said yeah!!....Then, when it was moving sideways, it suddenly went up.... sideways, and took off at a speed that was so fast, I have no clue how fast it could have gone!....Meaning, there were planes in the distance and this UFO was long gone in about a second or so!!! and it was already pretty high in the sky when I first saw it. Anyways, I remember everything about it!...I was 21 at the time, and my friend was 32!.....(I am now 38!)

It was very bright, and the whole thing took about 5-6 minutes, with it staying STILL, for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes!
