I saw 1 orange glowing ball like this article talks about fly over top of me. Here are the details:

Time: about 11:46 pm EST

Location: http://goo.gl/maps/7ooVH

Details: I noticed it over around http://goo.gl/maps/TdkT9 and it flew over around http://goo.gl/maps/SVe9V and then I lost sight of it. It was an orange glowing ball that moved faster than a plane and made no sound. It seemed low in the sky, lower than commercial airplanes fly. It seemed to have a bit of a flicker or pulsing to it and sorta looked like a fireball. Sadly I didn't take a video of it.

I saw it the other night as well when I was walking my dog with my son who also saw it. It was further away tho maybe around here http://goo.gl/maps/AI81p or a bit south. It was June 29th around 10:30 pm EST.

Webmaster's note: I inquired about sky lanterns and the witness responded, " Yes I'm familiar with Chinese Lanterns, they came up in my Google search as well when I found Brian's site and I did watch some videos. It could be possible I suppose it was weird tho cause there was no wind on the lake either night. There was a slight breeze above it last night but it seemed to be blowing in the opposite direction. I realize wind gets much faster the higher you go but it was was going pretty fast! There were no clouds in the sky to compare it to last night. I was wrong on the date of the first one I saw, it was last Saturday (not Monday) June 27th, which maybe increases the likelihood of them being Chinese Lanterns because it might be someone's Saturday night fun but there were clouds in the sky and they were barely moving while it was flying just as fast as the one I saw last night.."
