Grismby September 6th 2014 Ontario 3:30 am

"Just googled weird orange light over Toronto to try to figure out what the hell I just saw tonight (3:30am). Came across your post from 2 years ago and thought I'd write.  It was crazy, I followed them home along the QEW Niagara (they were above the lake) then when I exited in Grimsby I went to the lake and watched as it went across the lake w/ a weird smoke trail, disappeared, reappeared, disappeared, then it or another one reappeared way down the lake.  Too strange and I would love to know wtf they were!"

"I saw the weird orange lights in the sky this morning around 4am and it lasted for about 5 minutes, it lit up the sky where I live in beamsville ontario, and I have been freaked out ever since I saw it, any idea of what it was?"

ufo details report: Re: Orange Ball of Light over Lake OntarioI was driving along QEW Niagara bound just before 50 Rd around 2:55am and noticed a ball of light.  I made my way to the lake to take a closer look but by the time i got there the light had disappeared.  2 minutes later a helicopter with a search light came swooping down very low across the lake obviously looking for something.  It sounded like there were more helicopters in the distance. Now that i see this was going on for at least another hour past the time i saw, my thought is that this is a way to light up the lake in an area to allow the searchers to see better? I haven't been able to see any report anywhere that mentions the need for a search though.It was very interesting to see though!

"I saw the same orange light over Grimsby at 3.55am looking directly across the lake from Bronte Harbour. It was an extraordinarily bright light which lit up the entire sky, created a "yellow brick road" across the lake and seemed to be made up of three/four different light sources clustered together. I too saw it grow large, almost disappear and then reappear and then at 4am it suddenly instantly disappeared! I thought I might hear something on the news this morning as it was so bright it must have seemed light daylight in Grimsby but I didn't hear anything although this morning around 9.30am there was a plane just over the lake by Grimsby flying in a search pattern looking for something!! I too would love to know what I saw as it was like nothing I've seen before,,,,,, and what was that plane looking for?"

Another witness has come forward:

"My wife and I witnessed a large orange ball flying over Lake Ontario when I was driving on the QEW Niagara bound around 2:30 am on Saturday September the 6th 2014. We were almost approaching the town of St Catherine's when my wife noticed the object flying with a lot of smoke trailing behind it. It was a very bright orange light which we got on film and some pictures we'd like to share with you."
