King City Ontario June 13th 2009 10.35pm

"We have a cottage in the middle of a 100 acre forest in the area of Aurora Rd. and Hwy 400 in King City, north of Toronto. On the evening of Saturday June 13th 2009 something very strange happened. We have no electricity,so we use candles and flashlights. At this time of the year the trees have all their leaves and it is very dark at night.There is almost a canopy over the forest, you can barely see the sky. The cottage is 12 by 16 feet and is an A frame. There are many windows, and we never close the blinds. At the top of each end of the A frame where it comes to a point, there is a window,(which is a triangle) There are screens on these windows, our bed is up in the loft facing one of these windows, which was open, the other one right above our heads was closed that night.At 10.30 p.m. my husband and I decided to go to bed,so we blew out the candles and turned off the flashlights. You can't see your hand in front of you, it is so dark. Within about five minutes,a strange light appeared in the window (the one that was open)at the top of the A frame directly across from us.The highest part of the cottage,which is about 14 feet high at that point.It was a very bright white dazzling light. It had a core, very bright, about the size of a loonie, but not a true circle either.It had dazzling white rays coming out of it.We could not see the edge of the rays as they were extended beyond the window frame.It lit up the inside of the cottage. It stayed there for a while and then vanished. Then there were flashes of light, each flash lasted about three seconds. Then it came back and appeared on and off about 10 times,again with dazzling white rays coming out of it, staying on for different lengths of time. There was no set time in between and it seemed to appear in a slightly different position in the window each time.It was completely still and with absolutely no sound.It proceeded down and around towards the front door and the windows on the ground floor,again more very bright flashes.Then it came back up to the window again and we saw the core and the dazzling rays again. It was closer to the left side of the window in the corner this last time. It stayed about half a minute and then vanished. The last thing I saw was a light reflected on the wall inside,not bright,towards the front door and in it was a ball about the size of a grapefruit going down towards the floor and then it vanished. The whole episode lasted about four minutes altogether.We have never seen a light this bright before,it was extremely bright and very white. What struck us the most was how close we were to it. We have owned the cottage for six years and stay there on a regular basis through out the year.This is the first time something like this has happened. It was an extraordinary event that we can't explain. The closest cottage to ours with someone in it that night was a six minute walk away. We feel very uneasy about staying there over night now."
