UFO details report: Nov 3, 1965  Petawawa, Ontario.  I was 11 years old, and as I was walking home from the post office, I saw  strange lights hovering in the sky just above the post office. The object scared me so I ran to the school, and then the object moved over me again.  I ran home and told my parents who came outside.  They took one look at the thing and sent all of the kids into the house.  They stayed out there with other neighbours and the military police joined them. The next day, they would not talk about it, but the papers said it was a train light bouncing off the cloud.  I knew that was wrong. Train lights do not have colours, and there were no clouds in the sky.   see this blog for my mother's reaction....  http://www.ufocasebook.com/ottawavalley.html Please note - before this sighting I had never even heard of UFOs.  I was just a regular 11 year old kid.  I will always wonder what I saw.  But the sighting has left me wondering what else is out there.  I am 58 years old now and still occasionally search the night sky for something unexplainable.
