Ottawa ON

I saw a round grey object up in the sky above the city of Ottawa yesterday(Thursday July 6, 2006) around 6:20pm. I live in the west end around Merivale rd and I saw it while standing looking east just in front of my house. It just caught my eye because it kind of looked like a satellite but I didn't think you could see them during the day. It had no exhaust trail and then it just disappeared from the sky. Maybe someone else saw it too?
