East Henrietta, NY USA over Lake Ontario August 8th 2015 11pm-12am

UFO details report: South East Henrietta, NY, Saturday August 8, 2015 between 11p-12a. 2x objects observed. 1 in the northern sky (above lake ontario) low on the horizon and 1 in the western sky. Both too far away to observe detail, but both shimmered or radiated multi-colored lights:red, blue, white, in an oscillating pattern, seemingly in unison. My wife and I went outside to view perseid meteor shower. At first I thought the one in northern sky was a plane heading toward us, but planes usually fly north to south or east to west toward the airport, but sometimes circle over the lake before landing. But this was static for at least 30 minutes. Then I noticed a similar light in the western sky. I tried identifying the objects via skyeye droid star map, but no matches.

In further correspondence the witness shared with me the following:

Just for the record, I looked for them last night every hour from dusk til midnight under similar atmospheric conditions. They were not there.   According to Skeye (Droid Star map app), Arcturus, the brightest star in Bootes, in the Western sky at approx 11pm was identifiable and distinct from the anomoly.

I am 40 years old and have lived in the Rochester, NY area for most of my life. The two objects my wife and I observed Saturday, August 8, 2015 were different than what I have seen before. However, the constant changing colors, red, blue, white, (and green-in some reports) are similar to descriptions of other recent sightings that I read.

In the past, I have also seen very bright green or white spherical, orb-like crafts. For reference, bright enough to think a police car was shining its spot light on my car from 20 yards away. I was looking west into the Penfield, NY valley. The object was maintaining velocity at approximate small engine craft altitude for at least 10 secs, and then, instantaneously, at ludicrous speed, went straight up into space, leaving a light trail. In the Democrat&Chronicle the following day, a small article referenced a meteor falling somewhere in Ontario, Canada. But what I saw never fell. It just left.

I have seen that type a couple other times over Lake Ontario, but always from a great distance. My uncle, who grew up in Irondequoit, NY near South shore, has also seen similar phenomena to what I described. He's 20 years older than me.

Keep up the great work. The truth is out there."
