Updated October 14th 2014 9pm: These have been positively identified as Chinese sky-lanterns that were set off as part of a memorial celebration.

UFO details report: Last night (September 30th, 2014) at approximately 8:45PM, i saw something in the air that i could not explain. While driving home on my normal rural route, as i approached a corner, i noticed directly above this area, about 40 feet further on, these orange lights floating in the air.  They were not high in the air, almost tall street light level.  There were 5 of them, two groups of 2 that were close together and then a 5th somewhat centred between these two pairs.I have driven by this area thousands of times and knew that it was not supposed to be there..  I pulled over to the side of the road, turned off the car and got out.  At this time, there were two other vehicles coming from a different direction stopped as well.  As i got out, there was not a sound to be heard.  The lights then started to slowly move away from where i was stopped.I honestly did not know what to think.  I am a man of logic and needs to explain things to rationalize but this... This i could not explain it.  I have never been on any kind of website for the paranormal!!!I watched the lights slowly move away from me as i stood there in awe. To this day i do not know why, but i just got back in my car and drove off..  Ironically enough my wife was in a car not too far behind me.  We live about 4 minutes from this spot.  By the time we both were home, i right away asked her if she saw any lights.  When i explained the location, she right away started going on about how there were two vehicles parked on the side of the road and how dangerous it was...  (These two vehicles i presume were the two that i had seen when i was stopped).
