Rural Eastern Ontario January 4th 2012 evening

The witness writes:

"Has there been any reports of falling parts in the south eastern areas of Ontario? Meteor showers? Been seeing quite a bit lately and this evening I seen an unusually large "Shooting Star" but this one did not go down I made sure I did not blink came into the atmosphere like one but did not go down instead it stopped in a form of a bright light and darted in a straight pattern south towards Ogdensburg NY. weird I was coming from the barn not even looking up then it shot down and straight thought I would share kind of cool to see."
