Baden ON August 28th 2010 9:30pm

"We were sitting outside on our patio with a friend and while looking at the sky, my wife yelled, 'look at that.' The 3 of us saw a very large and bright orange ball going perfectly horizontally across the sky (not falling). We had no idea what it was since it was so much bigger than any airplane. A meteorite ? It just seemed to be moving too perfectly horizontal - not falling at all.It was in the north sky moving from west to east. Our friend's wife was in the house. We got her outside and she also saw it shortly before it disappeared to the east.Ron and I thought we had heard a very brief type of hissing sound initially but weren't sure if it coincided with the arrival of the unknown object. Didn't hear anything after that I contacted the Waterloo Region Record (the local newspaper) and they said they have no reports of it."
