Kanata ON             

Nov 19th 11:30pm approx.

It was the evening of Nov 19, 2004, approximately 11:30 p.m., and my friend and I were driving home to Renfrew, Ontario from Ottawa, Ontario. We were just past Kanata (West end of Ottawa) and we were driving along, singing to the radio and chatting. There was about a ten minute time period where we both went completely quiet and stared into the sky. I finally noticed that my friend had also spotted the same thing I did, so I asked her what she thought it was.  As we drove along, I stared at the object which was hovering over the trees (quite a bit higher to the trees, but not small looking to the eye) to the left side of the highway.  It had three lights on it and it just hovered there, the lights facing us.  We watched it for 15 minutes until it disappeared out of view but it just hovered over the trees, unmoving.  Both of us had a strange, eerie feeling the whole time driving by the object and every time we head into the city at night, we always look for the object but have yet to see it again. We're not sure what it was, but it was certainly not an aircraft as it had three lights on it and they faced us at all times. Anyway, just thought I would post this to let you know what we saw...
