Strange Lights Frenchmans Bay ON July 2005 Approx 1am

UFO details report: Driving home with my brother in the passenger seat, eastbound along Bayly Rd. between Whites rd and Liverpool rd in Pickering, Ontario, approaching Frenchman's Bay on a warm and humid Summer night in July 2005. I glanced NNW in the sky and saw what appeared at first to be a Police Helicopter shining its light on my car and approaching quickly as though to intercept. The light was amber, which confused me since the police helicopter search lights are whiter in colour temperature; the light was very intense. I slowed down to listen for the sound of chopper blades but there was no sound. I started to panic since I realized this couldn't be a helicopter and it was travelling very quickly, directly toward my car. My brother saw the light as well, leaning over me to get a better look at it. By the time it went overhead, its elevation was probably about 100 feet up and it must have been moving over 300 miles per hour. We looked quickly out the passenger side window to view what this object was but there was nothing to be seen; it made no sound at all. Bayly has street lighting and this event occurred as we approached the suburb just East of Frenchman's Bay's North shoreline before St. Martin's drive.

Webmaster's note: This area of Durham, Ontario, and in particular the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station has been a UFO "hotspot" over the years. I have personally had two close range sightings in the vicinity as has had our colleague, and friend Derek Fulton amongst many, many others.
