We received this report of a very frightening encounter in 2019, but the events described occurred in 1964. In the witnesses own words:

August 1964 North west of Pembroke Ontario.

"Myself, sister and mother and father were chased by strange lights in the sky that were looking like they wanted to land on us. This happened or started at a picnic area about 4 km east of Rodulf. We stopped at 4 pm for a meal and a walk to the river.

I was 12 years old at the time and I was lost for 3 hours. I only suddenly remember sitting at a picnic table with my family, in the dark and covered in mosquitos. The table was clear or empty. Our pet was gone and lights from above our heads were bouncing all over the place.

That is when it began. An 8 to 10 minute drive from hell while it chased us, raising and lowering as we sped up or down. The ordeal ended about a km from a husky station where it stopped and took off in 180 degree direction when we met a car coming from the other direction.

We jack knifed our car and camper trailer in the husky station. We left the car abandoned with lights and motor running for a half an hour until we all calmed down in the husky gift shop. My sister was catatonic for three days after."
