Echo Bay, ON                

September 1997 11:30 approx.

I was driving on a dirt road going home. I noticed a bright star in the sky. I noticed it because I had never seen a star that big or in that place in the sky. As a watched the star (which at first I thought it was) it just hovered in one spot. As I drove closer to the object I noticed that it wasn't a star but maybe a air craft. I just didn't understand how a aircraft could stay still in the sky. As I watched it for about 10 minutes. As I drove up the hill I didn't notice it any more. It wasn't until I came down the hill to pull into my driveway it was hovering off to the left over a field beside my house. I could see my husband in the house and thought maybe he could hear it or had even seen it. As I watched it I thought maybe it was watching my husband in the house. (To this day I am still not sure what it was doing) I sat in the car and watched it hover over the field just beside the house. (about 50 feet or so)It was huge, about the 12000 square feet. Lights were all around the outside. Oval in shape. I thought i could see figures inside moving around. I knew, it knew, I was watch it. I was afraid however more curious about what it was. I thought maybe it was a special miltary aircraft. As I sat there in the car watching it, IT disappeared so quickly. Just like when you blink your eyes, that's how fast it went away (or flew towards the eastern direction). faster than anything I can describe. I am telling this now because it has been on my mind for many years and I just need to say it now.
 
That evening, I told my husband and asked him if he had heard anything however he said no. I was really afraid for my family because I thought (felt) it was watching them and there was nothing I could do to protect them. For about 2-3 WEEKS afterwards I could hear the humming outside the house late at night. The sound would wake me up but my husband would never wake up to the sound. I would have to wake him up and tell him that they were outside again. The experience was very frightening to me. Since that time I have moved into (name removed by Pararesearchers). I have never experienced the aircraft again since that first time. And truly hope I never experience it again. Thank you for reading my story.
