I just stepped outside on a routine outing, and suddenly noticed the object because it looked unordinary compared to anything else that I had seen fly over the city after dark. When I had first noticed the object, I was certain that it could not have been anything explainable. My first action upon seeing the object was to drop what I had first set out to do in order to try to find out what was going on, and later ran for the nearest doorway after seeing a real bright light come down from a fixed point in the sky. For most of the time that the sighting lasted, the object was repeatedly flying around in a circle at a very high rate of speed, and I later lost sight of it when it flew away before I finally got back outside one hour after running inside.
